Batch image processing in Linux

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

Just find a useful bash script. “It’s just a simple (well, somewhat simple) set of bash functions all put together in one script with a menu (of sorts) to help you work on batches (entire directories) of images, all at once.” It was built on Imagemagick, which is “a software suite to create, edit, and compose bitmap images”. Except a command line software, Imagemagick is similar in many way with a famous windows software, IrfanView.  It is not a great programming, but it proved useful functions to me on several occasions.  Hence I recommend it to everyone who see this post.  In case it is deleted from its website, I backup it in my host in Google.
